Yoga

Susan was athletic in her youth, but re-discovered the joy, challenge and benefits of exercise as an adult.  Running became her 1st love, as a way to not only challenge herself physically and lose weight, but she also to find and maintain inner peace.  Since her 1st 5k in 2012, she has gone on to run a number of half marathons, 2 full marathons, participated in obstacle course races and in Sprint triathlons. She discovered and fell in love with the benefits of yoga in 2014 when she attended her 1st hot yoga class. From there, she began a dedicated home practice, where she found a deeper relationship with Christ, all while on the mat.  In November 2016, Susan completed her 225 hour Yoga Teacher training through Holy Yoga.  As a certified instructor, she is able to meet you on the mat & provide yoga instruction for all levels of fitness.  She is also certified to teach Yogalates and Yoga with Weights.  She will also be certified as a Group Exercise Instructor with AFAA.
